Our Mission

Our Leadership

Leadership

Our leadership promotes the necessary tools to engage each member of the church who desires to work and serve to glorify the Lord. It’s equipping people to discover their calling, use their gifts, and build up the body of Christ.
There are many ministry opportunities available if you're willing to be apart. If the body stays on one accord then it can make a great impact on our community.

Words of

Encouragement

Encouraging Words from the Pastor: We must continually remind the church why she exists, calling people to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and challenging them to live out the great commission in their worlds. In addition, casting a clear and compelling vision for the future is often a catalyst for healthy growth.

Greetings From The Pastor's Desk

Greetings from the Pastor’s Desk,

To God be the glory for all the things that He has done!!  There is a God who is above all and in control of everything.  We are so glad that you are visiting our website and hope to see you in our church someday.  If not here, we hope you attend a church where you will receive sound doctrine.  At Southside First, we aim to be a place of hope, love, fellowship, and restoration. We desire for the Spirit of God to live and move in the lives of all who calls on the name of our savior, Jesus Christ.

Here at Southside First, our goal is to help you blossom into a spirit-filled child of God.  We believe this will be accomplished through biblical teaching, sharing unconditional love, encouraging support, personal prayer, and mentoring.

Before you leave this site, there are three things you should know:

1.     YOU are LOVED

(John 3:16) God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

2.    YOU are FORGIVEN

(I John 10:9) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

3.    YOU are a CONQUEROR

(Philippians 4:13) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

As we continue to run this race, I’m reminded of what Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” If you desire prayer, please fill out the prayer request.

Blessings,
